Update Item Tax from POS Based on Store Settings and User Permissions

The Update Tax for this Item option in the POS is now controlled by both Store Settings and User Role Permissions. To enable this feature, first navigate to User List → Manage Roles → Edit Role, search for Tax, and enable the Sales → POS → Update Item Tax permission for the required user role. This permission grants the user the ability to update an item's tax from the POS.

Next, go to Store Settings → POS and enable the Change tax for items from POS setting. This setting allows tax modifications directly from the POS screen.

Once both the permission and the store setting are enabled, open the POS, add an item to the bill, and click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the item. The Update tax for this item option will now be available, allowing the user to modify the tax for that item.
