You can now configure the default price type for item creation through Store Settings → Others → Default Price Types for Item Creation. When a price type such as Fixed is selected as the default, all newly created items will automatically use that price type, eliminating the need to configure it manually for every item.
In addition to setting a default price type, you can also update the price type for existing items. If certain items require a different pricing method, you can modify the price type directly from the Item Details screen or use the Bulk Update Price & Type option to update multiple items at once. This provides the flexibility to maintain a standard pricing configuration for new items while allowing exceptions to be managed individually or in bulk whenever required.
