A new Days of Supply section has been introduced in Item Details → Handling Units to help manage inventory more effectively. The configuration consists of three key settings:
Maximum Days of Supply – Defines the maximum number of days for which stock should be maintained. The system uses AI-based sales predictions to calculate the required quantity and avoid overstocking.
Reorder Days of Supply – Specifies the stock level at which replenishment should be triggered. When the available stock reaches this threshold, the system identifies the need for restocking to prevent stock shortages.
Minimum Days of Supply – Defines the minimum stock that must always be available. This ensures that sufficient inventory is maintained to support sales for the specified number of days, even before replenishment arrives.
By configuring these values, businesses can maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and improve replenishment planning based on predicted demand.
