I purchased vegetables for Rs.500. But I pay only rupees Rs.400 as I get a discount of Rs.100. How to track this discount?
You can create a Journal Voucher - Credit in Discount Income account and Debit in Vendor(Partner) account.
You may need create a Discount Income account in the Accounts menu under Custom accounts tab
