When a channel is selected while creating a sales receipt, it will be persisted if the local settings is set as shown below.
For example, if you set the channel as Home Delivery while creating a sales receipt, when you create the next sales receipt Home delivery will be seen there. You can change if required. This would help if you are billing a set of Home delivery orders together. You will not need to change it for every sales receipt.
