The Items section in Master Data is basically the control room for all your product information. Anytime you want to add something new to your store, this is where it starts.
And here’s something handy:
In the top-right corner, you’ll see the Add Item button. Right next to it, there’s a small three-dot menu. Click on it, and you’ll find all the powerful tools that make item management a lot easier...
Here’s what you can do:
1. PLU Items
Perfect for all those items without barcodes—fruits, bakery items, sell by weight items.
2. Download Items
Want to review your entire item list or share it with the team? Just download it with one click.
3. Bulk Upload
Updating prices or adding a big batch of new items? Use the bulk upload template and get it done in one go.
4. Bulk Upload Buy N Get N
Running promotions? Set up all your Buy-One-Get-One or similar offers in bulk—quick and clean.
5. Bulk Upload GST
Tax changes across products can be a headache, but this option lets you update GST for multiple items instantly.
6. Manage Search Tags
Search tags help you quickly filter and find items, especially when you have a large product catalog. You can add or manage these tags anytime.
7. Item Category Management
Easily maintain or adjust categories so every item stays organized. Clean categories also make reports clearer and more accurate.
8. Create Item from GRN
When new products arrive, you don’t need to exit the GRN screen.
Just scan → Add Item → Fill details → Link vendor — and continue with your purchase entry.
